Welcome to U3A Central Coast (Tas),
U3A Central Coast (North West Tasmania) has operated successfully since 2017 providing an opportunity for people over 50 to learn, engage in new hobbies or activities and socially interact with other like-minded members of the community.
A new committee was elected at the 2020 U3A Annual General Meeting (see minutes) on 2 December and we are looking forward to presenting a stimulating program in Semester 1.
We plan to start classes on Monday 1 March 2021. Most sessions will be held at Apex House or the Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre.
Current COVID guidelines in relation to social distancing and hand sanitising will apply.
U3A Central Coast was disappointed to lose some momentum during 2020 but we hope that old friends will return and new friends will come on board for 2021.
If you paid a membership fee in 2020, your membership is current until December 2021. For new members, the membership fee remains at $40 per year and is payable when applying to join U3A.
