A Walk in the Tasmanian Arboretum

Outline of Course:  Meet at the rotunda for an introduction to the arboretum before taking a walk around defined pathways to view the various collections.  There will be some trees displaying their autumn finery and the opportunity to see the seasonal birdlife.  The resident platypus family may consent to put it an appearance for your enjoyment.

Course requirements: U3A is covering the cost of the tour, but you will need to pay the garden entry fee of $5 at the front entrance.  Please wear comfortable, covered walking shoes; a hat and sunscreen.  Bring a water bottle but you will be able to purchase tea, coffee and ice cream from the kiosk at the end of the walk.  You are welcome to stay on in the arboretum, have a picnic or another walk at your own pace.
