Outline of course: Overseas people who think themselves fluent in English are often bamboozled by Australian vernacular expressions. This is a light-hearted examination of some old and more recent examples of Ocker language.  We look at the origins of various slang expressions.  Participants are invited to offer their own examples and there will be a fun quiz at the end.
