Outline of Course: Interactive session following a presentation by the two speakers.
Cheryl will address issues such as Council’s current goals, future strategies, costing and the role of community in relation to waste management.
Paul will talk about what currently happens to the contents of the small bin, the recycling bin and the FOGO bin; what you can and cannot put into each bin; how to sort plastics and what to do with problematic waste such as bottle tops, computers/printers, paint, mattresses and clothing.
Course requirements: Come prepared with questions and an open mind.
