Outline of course:  Steele Rudd (Arthur Hoey Davis), recognised as a Queensland and Australian icon, was widely read in the early 20th century.  He portrayed with wit and compassion the battle for existence experienced by rural farming families.  We will learn about his life while sharing his humour and insight into human nature and rural life.

Course requirements: Pen and notebook.  Participants will be emailed extracts from On Our Selection to be read in advance and brought to the session.
