Outline of course: There are over 150 edible native plants in Tasmania. Rees and Col will show you some of the 120 species of edible native plants they grow and show you how easy it is to incorporate edible natives in a domestic garden environment. Smell, touch and taste these plants and then enjoy a taste of products made with them. There will be an opportunity to purchase wild food preserves or obtain a copy of Rees’ book, Eat Wild Tasmanian.
Course requirements: Camera, sunscreen and insect repellent. Walking shoes and hat. *Boardwalks mean that the site is not suitable for wheelchairs or for people with limited mobility.
