Outline of course: From postcards and beer coasters to Sir Richard Burton (not Liz’s Burton) and Proust (well maybe not Proust either) we will explore together the profound and unique joy of travel writing. Anyone with a dose of enthusiasm, a small pen, Grade 4 English and a glue stick can enhance their travel pleasure in ways that will surprise and satisfy.
Course requirements: Pen, pencil and notebook. One exotic postcard (second hand is fine). One drink coaster. Enthusiasm.
